On-demand buses & dial-a-buses

The dial-a-bus service that operates in the Rottweil district is a transport service provided by Taxi Ehret GmbH (Schramberg) on behalf of the Rottweil district. The service is available daily, primarily during the evening and night hours, and throughout the day on weekends and on bank holidays in connection to scheduled services according to the timetables.

When booking, state the bus stop you’re departing from, your destination, your desired departure time and the number of passengers in your group. Calls cost €0.20 from German landlines and max. €0.60 from German mobile networks.

Trips must be booked at least 1 hour before you plan to travel.

The Sunday timetable applies on all statutory bank holidays. If a bank holiday falls on a weekday from Tuesday to Saturday, the same timetable as Fridays applies on the day before the bank holiday (including extra journeys made after midnight).
The Saturday timetable applies on 24th December (Christmas eve) and 31st December (New Year’s Eve), although the dial-a-bus service in Rottweil district only runs until 6pm.

KONUS tickets, Baden-Württemberg tickets and connecting mobility under the bwtarif are also covered. The special company fare only applies to the route from/to Hornberg for cross-border travel.

The door-to-door service ticket:
A door-to-door service is available for an extra fee of €1 after 8pm.

People with a disability are able to use the dial-a-bus service in Rottweil district free of charge upon presentation of corresponding identification (disabled person’s ID card with valid token) and are only required to pay the extra fee for the door-to-door service.

Transport companies occasionally offer rides with on-demand buses, which are only carried out when required due to weaker demand. On-demand buses only operate at the times stated in the timetable.

On-demand buses can only be ordered for travel beyond the district borders. Exceptions to the above can be found in the descriptions under the travel times in timetable.

On-demand buses do not incur any extra charges on the standard ticket price.

Simply call the phone number with at least one hour’s notice before your scheduled departure time to let the driver know your planned start location, destination and the number of passengers.
