Who is Move? What are the pros?

gemeinsamer regionaler Verkehrsverbund
Ticketübersicht

Until now, the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region was divided into three transport associations, each with its own separate fare, plus the joint 3-ticket fare for journeys between districts. That adds up to 4 fares in a small region. On January 1, 2023, the three local transport associations VSB, VVR and TUTicket will merge to form a new joint regional transport association under the newly created mobility brand, “Move”.

For the customer this means the following in concrete terms:

  • Getting you further
The brand new Move network will transform the existing 27 fare zones into 8. Under the new system, the fare zones and network areas covered by tickets will be expanded. One ticket will be all that’s required to travel the entire train and bus network throughout the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region.
  • Understandable Fares
In the future, travellers will be able to purchase a comprehensive range of tickets tailored to suit their individual needs.
  • Easily Priced Mobility
Travel further for less. Subscription products in particular offer attractive prices for travel throughout the entire association area and Baden-Württemberg. This translates to major savings for you.
  • Modern Public Transport
Public transport in the region is getting a new, cutting-edge overhaul and becoming more digital with e-tickets, an online customer portal, online ticket sales via DB Navigator and online group bookings. Making your journey easier and more convenient.
  • Local Points of Contact
All former customer centres will be your point of contact for Move. This means you can contact any of the many customer centres in the region to receive assistance with your ticket.
