Move – the fare for the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg transport association

The three former transport associations VSB, VVR and TUTicket are merging to form a new, larger transport association covering the entire Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region. The name of the transport association is “Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg” and it operates under the new regional mobility brand “Move”.

A standard fare will be introduced for the three districts of Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis, Rottweil and Tuttlingen, replacing the four previous local fares (VSB, VVR, TUTicket and 3-trip fare). With Move, there will be fewer and larger fare zones.
This will make public transport easier for everyone, clearer and also more affordable on almost all routes. All the existing VSB, VVR and TUTicket Customer Centres will continue to be available to you as Move Customer Centres.

The Move fare is valid on all local buses and trains in the rural districts of Rottweil, Tuttlingen and the Schwarzwald-Baar district. In the transition zones from the district of Rottweil to the district of Freudenstadt (VGF), the vgf/move fare applies, and within the two districts of Tuttlingen and Konstanz (VHB), the VHB-Move87 fare will apply. Both transition fares are can be purchased locally on the spot.

From 01/01/2023, your point of contact for the Move fare will be the new Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg transport association. All previous TUTicket, VSB and VVR Customer Centres will remain open and will be able help you with any questions. The contact details for the Move Customer Centre are…

Existing “AboCard” travel cards are only valid until 31/12/2022.
Your old transport association will write to you in good time by post and inform you of the further steps required and the procedures. The data will automatically be transferred to the legal successor for the smooth transfer of your “AboCard” travel card unless you object within the set deadline. This involves the conclusion of a new “AboCard” contract with Move and a new SEPA mandate. With the launch of Move, your travel card will be valid throughout the association. This requires the conclusion of a new subscription contract with Move and a new SEPA direct debit mandate

Just like before, you will be able to purchase a subscription travel card for adults along with a discounted subscription travel card for school children, apprentices and students. The subscription travel cards for adults and students are both available throughout the entire network area. They are only issued as digital tickets on chip cards. In addition, single tickets, day tickets and discounted monthly passes will be available. The fare range will be extended to include bike tickets and connecting tickets within the network fare zones (4-hour validity) and covering the local associations (monthly pass).

The existing “AboCard” travel cards are in any case only valid until 31/12/2022.
If you have not received a letter by post by mid-October, please contact the Customer Centre for your existing transport association (contractual partner). Please let us know your new address shortly after you’ve moved to make sure you receive all important correspondence from Move. Naturally, you can also cancel your existing “AboCard” travel card with VSB/VVR/TUTicket under the conditions known to you effective 31/12/2022.

If you do not object to the migration of your data to the new transport association following receipt of the written information on the further procedure and also submit a new SEPA mandate for the successor Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg association, your season ticket will continue to be valid without interruption and you will receive your new “AboCard” travel card on time in December.

Naturally, you can also cancel your existing “AboCard” travel card with VSB/VVR/TUTicket effective 31/12/2022 under the conditions known to you. Please inform us of your wish in writing as soon as possible. You can simply object to the data migration. Your current subscription will then automatically end on 31/12/2022.

As an existing customer, you will be contacted by your old association (VVR, VSB, TUTicket) at mid-October 2022 and informed of the data migration to the new Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg transport association. You will also receive a new SEPA direct debit mandate form that needs to be completed. Please fill out the SEPA direct debit mandate along with your customer data and return to your old association. The known customer centres remain available to assist you. We will provide regular updates in good time on our website.

Yes, please return your old “AboCard” travel card to the issuing association’s customer centre (VSB, VVR or TUTicket) or hand it in there at the beginning of January 2023. In this way, the “AboCard” travel card and all personal data will be disposed of in accordance with data protection regulations.

The period of validity for the “AboCard” travel card you purchased from VSB, VVR or TUTicket will be credited to your new Move travel card, which means that you will not suffer any disadvantage concerning the minimum validity period of 12 months. You will not be charged again if your “AboCard” travel card was not yet valid for 12 months. If you would like to object to the data migration and you subscription was not yet valid for 12 months, you will not be subsequently billed in this special case.

Formerly issued student tickets are only valid until 31/12/2022. Schools will provide information on how to obtain new student travel cards from the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg transport association with plenty of notice. As of 2023, student tickets will contain a photo (passport photo, not necessarily biometric). With the “AboCard Ausbildung” student subscription travel card, school children, apprentices and students will be able to travel throughout the entire network area for a great price. The “AboCard Ausbildung” student subscription travel card is automatically valid in all three districts of Rottweil, Tuttlingen and Schwarzwald-Baar.

The 49-euro Deutschlandticket

Following a resolution by the federal government and federal states, the ticket will be introduced as quickly as possible in 2023. Certain details are yet to be clarified, but we’re working on it and will provide all related updates here.

Dubbed the “Deutschlandticket”, the nationwide monthly ticket allows unlimited travel on public and regional transport throughout Germany with just one ticket. Please note that the ticket does not cover travel on long-distance trains (IC, EC, ICE). The ticket is only available as a non-transferable monthly subscription valid for the holder. Accordingly, the Deutschlandticket does not allow travellers to travel with other people, dogs or bikes free of charge.

The ticket costs €49 on a monthly subscription, adding up to €588 per year. You can opt to pay on a monthly or annual basis. The ticket is valid from the date of its nationwide launch, starting on 1/1/2023. You will receive your ticket from us by this date.

Once all the details have been resolved, we will announce where and from when the ticket can be purchased on our homepage.
Currently, the ticket CANNOT be purchased online or in our customer centres.
